Gonzaga's Best Practices

The Local Government Unit of Gonzaga has an Income Generating Project which offers a variety of products made by Rural Improvement Club from different barangays, These are displayed and sold at Pasalubong center located beside the Gonzaga People Gymnasium. The best selling products are seaweed chips made from fresh seaweed with palm or coconut oil, pinipig puff bars made with sweetened popped rice and the famous chicaron made with glutinous corn available in four different sumptuous flavors (garlic, turmeric, garlichiz and chili garlic. Other products made from fruit extracts are also available. These are made as wine product such as santol, pineapple, dragon fruit, mango and bugnay. Items like hand bag weaved, coconut oil, carved wood figurines are also seen in the pasalubong center. Furthermore the municipality is also abundant with variety of fresh seafood like different types of shrimps, crabs, malaga, yellow fin and the like.

There are numerous of Food service establishments available in the municipality. They serve safe and delightful food. Pansitan like mang guryo, JC, rebecca and dicks are some of it.

The municipality has a well developed infrastructure. In fact, as of today, the construction of their national museum is on going.

I also observed that celebrations such as festival, Christmas programs, Centennial and the like, people of Gonzaga harmoniously work for the success of every event. They make sure that  something remarkable is being done during each event.  

Gonzaga has a very supportive LGU officials. They have very active  members and personnel in the tourism department. These tourism enthusiasts continuously enhance and develop hidden tourist spots in the municipality to make Gonzaga a well known tourist destination.
